We are clogging now on 4 and 5 spots consider Mutombo will be back another year with the Rockets and Hayes is being active on the rosters. It will be interesting to see how RA will be using Dorsey on rotation. Great info! Thanks.

Dorsey will be brought in to foul someone REALLY hard 5 times. He will probably also grab some rebounds and miss some free throws. But mainly, he'll knock some guys to the floor, pick up some good fouls, and keep true with Artest's mantra: NO LAYUPS!

Definitely clogged at the 4 but i still think we're really light at the 5 even with Mutombo. Dorsey is only like 6'9" right?

I like how he mentions Ron, then in the same breath mentions himself while talking about defense. Not only that he said it, but that he said it so calmly. Like, there is no doubt in my mind that I'm one of the best defenders in the NBA even though I've never stepped foot on NBA hardwood.

Well if the Summer league is any indicator of his defense he has a LONG LONG way to go.

I don't get why everyone is so high on Dorsey... I might just be ignorant, but I don't understand. Even after the draft, people had him in rotation, but not Donte Greene. He was only 2nd round draft pick who is undersized.

    Am I missing something here?

I agree. I really don't get why people are so excited about him. I mean, it's great and all that the Rockets organization thinks he is a good player, but we have never really seen him play. We saw him play in one summer league game and he practically lost the next game for us, which he didn't even play in. I also love his tough attitude and all, but him being "Ray Lewis with a basketball" is still unproven. The fact that Morey thinks he's a good player who can contribute something to our team is also good to hear, but it's yet to be seen whether or not he will even crack the rotation and/or gel with our other players.

I do hope that he has a year like Landry did last year, but until then, he is unproven, a rookie.
