    I mean, Neo couldn't have known about 9/11, right? He actually did live way past 9/11, though. But he hadn't even taken the red pill, yet. So, he wouldn't have realized the significance of 9/11, when he got his passport.

    I wonder who gave him the passport.

    I think I remember there being some sort of paranoid theory that something was going to happen on either 9/1/01 or 9/11/01 and i think it's just because it looks like 9-1-1. The fact that smething did happen on one of those days is most likely a coincidence...do terrorists know about our 9-1-1?
