I say No....We dont need Gordon...We need STEVE NASH ;)

    Imagine a team with

    Nash
    McGrady
    Artest
    Scola
    Yao

do you think that wins a championship?

I would trade him for Mike Miller, but only if we knew for certain that Artest was in the fold.

If Gordon could play a legitimate PG, I would consider it ...IF we re-signed Artest.....

Gordon wants over 12 million. He wouldn't sign a deal making 10 million in CHI last year. No way 8 mil works, and we don't have the players that CHI wants to get to 12.

Artest just added the offense we needed. I like Gordon, but he's way too high on what he brings to the table. With both Artest AND Battier, our defense is killer.

Now that Alston doesn't have to be our third offensive option, I think he'll be what we need at PG, as a great ball handler, good defense, hitting the 3, amd passing in this offense.

I understand the point of injuries, but Artest just filled that need, IMHO.

I agree with no...simply way too much money, and the prospect of losing both Artest and Battier for 2009-2010 is scary.

HOWEVER, in a perfect world with Artest signed to an extension and Gordon being within reasonable price range, I'd pull the trigger immediately. Gordon is an amazing 6th man...awesome 3pt shooter, awesome FT shooter, and can light it up and give what could be a struggling offense a huge boost. I mean, for people comparing him to Head...Gordon is a 19-20PPG scorer off the bench, and while he is undersized it won't b a big deal because he wouldn't be getting 35-40MPG. Just a big time spark off the bench and 20-25MPG or so of playing time.

Nope he wouldn't why would he give up our role players for Steve Nash? Morey is a smarter guys he gets the guys he feels can be trade bait and Nash is NOT carrying a contract around 12 mil? that's a huge no-no.

Absolutely, positively, NO! Anyone who wants to trade Battier obviously didn't watch the Rockets last season. Shane would be one of the last guys I traded on this team. He played his heart out last season and never showed signs of fatigue until the last game of the playoffs. Keeping him then adding Artest our defense will be sick. Our scoring options are endless and we don't need another ball stopper. Gordon is a fine player but Battier is a better all around player.
