I like how Dirk kept missing :D

But It's very nice Yao dominated the game and China won, I really hope china gets the bronze at least, Yao deserves it big time.

why not play them 30 minutes or less, and rest them on the second leg of B2B.

The big four (USA, Spain, Lith, and Arg) are going to clean house in the quarters.

nah. they were definitely DIFFERENT from the NBA but that does not make them bad calls.

NBA rewards flopping and will give the star the block at the end of games when he barrels into the lane praying for a whistle but it's good that they didn't just give Dirk those free points

Yao also didnt get called when Dirk went flying from phantom contact. you are right Yao would have gotten whistled in the NBA but that's why the NBA is bull****

Im not gonna lie I was kinda worried China was gonna use Yao like Milwaukee is using CC Sabathia right now ie with an attitude of who cares bc he wont be here next year and just play Yao the entire game, but they've actually been really good about giving him long breaks during the games. Dirk better get used to seeing that this season bc I know the Mavs big splash of Sagana Diop is not gonna neutralize Yao

see what you're saying? "no way should it have been called in that situation" you've been watching the NBA so long that the corruption has seeped into how you actually view ballgames.

if that's a travel it's a travel. it's a David Stern idea that because it's at the end of games and because he's a star you dont call that.

ironic that a legit call gets questioned because we're so used to corrupt officiating

Its not even gonna be close, and all those people who thought so were foolish. ESPN said spain would pose a threat for us are you kidding me? I suppose Pau Gasol, jose calderon, Rudy FErnandez,Ricky Rubio,Jorge Garbosa, and Marc Gasol really strike fear into Kobe,Bron,CP,Deron,Dwight and Dwade....we smashed them we lost in '04 bc that dream team was a joke you had a backcourt of steph/AI/vince for god sakes thats the most selfish team ive ever seen.....then you had bron/dwade on the bench not playing what a joke larry brown is a jerk of a coach and doesnt like young guys and his cockiness came back and bit him, its not happening this year. We're winning the final by 40 book it

He think all the top seeds are going to win in quarter finals. I am not sure, lower seed could create upsets. China was up by 15 against the spain team in the fourth for example.

And there are fools in China who think the home crowd is not civil enough towards the Germans. :D

It took overtime for Spain to beat China and China gave the US a nice run for most of their game. China is more then capable of winning a medal.

China can win a medal if they don't run into the U.S. to early. I think the U.S. is just too much - particularly the backcourt.

Outside of that, China has the home court and I think it could beat any other team - so hopefully they don't draw the U.S. too early and get a bronze.

I talked to a German guy today and he was pissed that Kaman was on their team.

All I could do is laugh! :p
