nah, at least not from me. they played with effort so far. beat the teams they were supposed to beat. almost beat spain too. just take care of the rest of the games, they should be fine.

If it was'nt being held in china, i would tend to agree. but this games are being held in china. there home games. there expected to advance past this group.

maybe the casual fans who don't really know the international teams. if they knew, they wouldn't be expecting anything. :D

Liu Wei #5 is so useless. He's made nothing, can't even bring the ball near the three point line against those sorry German guards. When he's in, everyone just stands around. Put in Chen Jianghua #4 please.

    what else is new? ;)

that's how it always was in the last 10 years.

but, i have to say that germany has played pretty bad in this game. dirk isn't playing well for the 2nd consecutive tournament now. i think our team is pretty down and lacking confidence because of how poor we played versus spain and greece. we need a confidence booster pretty badly. so this game might be it. but until now we sucked. our front court defense, normaly a strength, is bad. our offense pretty much non existent. our guard play sucks as well. there's a still a lot of room to improve for germany because normaly we're better than that. let's see how this plays out. if china wins i'll still be happy. that's the good thing. :)

the front court is doing good today. yao, yi, wang... sun yue is doing a great job too, with the blocks. it's the other people. they aren't doing ****. not making shots, turnovers.

wtf, i go away for 15 minutes and china makes a comeback in the third, how unexpected

Man, a lot of players in basketball have learned how to sound like wailing otters when they get fouled, its a very disgusting sound.
