At least he didn't threaten to unload his meatball sandwich and, instead, give everyone a moon pie. But, I wouldn't be particularly pleased to be sitting in the vicinity of that "...it's for the team" guy above. Ugh!!!

Bottom line...AC/DC still rocks. Maybe someday when I'm really old and confined to a wheel chair...I will wheel on over to a show and sit in the handicap section to take it in. I will also be willing to watch a HD Net show on this new tour. :D

Don't feel like logging in as myself, but this is Fatty on T Rex's computer.

Actually, For those about to Rock changed mine. I immediately ordered their earlier albums and was hooked. It is still, IMO, the best music to listen to when you're feeling up, or feeling down.

    Perfection.

And if they do a concert, I'll be there.

Seriously, who else uses bagpipes, cannons, etc. in a concert?

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/99Y0W601Yx0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/99Y0W601Yx0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And I know this one isn't "live" but it's hilarious if you like AC/DC

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0upu_DhFK1I&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0upu_DhFK1I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And here's one to listen to when you're depressed.

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xpoY_Bs8Wy4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xpoY_Bs8Wy4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And my favorite: AC/DC's tribute to Bon Scott. Very subtle, and yet very cool.

This is going to come off as odd, but I've always loved meatloaf.

In fact, think about both "Paradise by the dashboard light" and "I'd do anything."

There was a point where Meatloaf's voice gave out, and they gave us these songs. It's odd to think they were originally written for Meatloaf, but you can tell they're obvious "Meatloaf" songs. (ie. the operatic tone, etc.)

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6lE6Htee0sA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6lE6Htee0sA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And I'm sure some of y'all can come up with who "remade" this:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/i_XT7zDuuZg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/i_XT7zDuuZg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Regardless. Meatloaf, love or hate, was a damn good musician.

Here is the official Black Ice Tracklisting

As expected, AC/DC's new album, "Black Ice," will be sold exclusively in the U.S. via Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and the band's Web site, beginning Oct. 20. First single "Rock'n'Roll Train" will hit U.S. radio on Aug. 28.

In an unusual move, the exclusive release comes with the full cooperation of AC/DC's label home, Columbia, which says it is planning "multiple activities for fans" leading up to street date.

The 15-track "Black Ice" was produced by Brendan O'Brien and is the follow-up to 2000's "Stiff Upper Lip." In true AC/DC fashion, no less than four songs feature "rock'n'roll" in the title. An extensive world tour in support of the set will begin in late October.

In addition, Columbia will on Sept. 9 release "No Bull: The Director's Cut," a newly edited DVD of AC/DC's July 1996 show at Madrid's Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas.

Here is the track list for "Black Ice":

    "Rock'n'Roll Train"
    "Skies on Fire"
    "Big Jack"
    "Anything Goes"
    "War Machine"
    "Smash n Grab"
    "Spoilin' for a Fight"
    "Wheels"
    "Decibel"
    "Stormy May Day"
    "She Likes Rock'n'Roll"
    "Money Made"
    "Rock'n'Roll Dream"
    "Rocking All the Way"
    "Black Ice"

No, I agree- I have Off the Wall and Thriller- I think Thriller is excellent and I am able to look past all his weirdness to acknowledge. Still, a 60 million gap between #1 and #2? Wow.

For AC-DC,what did it for me was Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. It came on in the car when we were driving to meet relatives and my mom was horrified that it was a song about a hitman talking about how to take out various people- they basically warned me strongly never to listen to them, and after that I was hooked.

AC/DC's new single "Rock N Roll Train" will be premeiring at North American radio stations tonight at 12:01am. There is a 30 second clip that was leaked via their myspace (and since removed, check youtube) that has the opening rifffs. The song sounds like "highway to hell' with the production of the "Powerage" album. Every person who has reviewed this album is saying it's their best since "For Those About to Rock". I'm really looking forward to hearing this.

I think the whole song has leaked, nobody has posted it on youtube, but I've seen some videos where some guy with a dying cat in his throat dressed as Brian Johnson sings along to the whole song and some others where people play their guitar along to the song.

I like it. It's not their most classic song but it's still very good. Brian Johnson hasn't sounded this good since "Flick of the switch". Brendon O'brien produced this and gave it the classic AC/DC feel with that slight echo. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. I expect it to be a big seller for walmart.
