China should just get rid of the men's soccor program. That would save alot of money. It is useless to have such a totally junk progrm.
I still can't see how we can be so bad, I think they need to start letting the Chinese soccer leagues sign more foreign players and that will increase the overall level of the Chinese players over time.
The whole system is broke. From top to bottom, youth to adult. The whole program needs to start over.
As long as the league is fxxxed up, it's no use even if you import the whole Brazil national team. I quit watching them 10 years ago. The team in 1986 was the best. Now? They are over-paid, non-performing, gamble-controlled, violent. They are bad, not only bad player, but bad person too. It's ok to lose, but it's shameless to give up before it started.
if US wants to catch up to china in golds, who are just killing the competition in the gold medal count, they need to dominate the track and field events as expected. basketball and volleyball golds should also belong to the US, along with a few more swimming due to phelps.
I guess that is good news for China. We have 4 gold in diving, 3 in badminton, 4 in table tennis to collect. I also heard we are favored in rowing. That brings total gold medals to over 40 !
