I never assume posters are idiots just because they are rookies, but in your case I'll make an exception.
lol, this is great. I'm loving this rivo guy; he's giving me a nice, humorous break from watching the Chinese cheat in gymnastics. iPhone users, Adobe said about a year ago they were working on Flash support for the iPhone. Y'all are still waiting. heypartner, I hate to be the idiot and ask, but what the heck are those? And I'm gonna sound like a broken record and say we might need to downgrade that Luther Head trade. It'll be more like this: <object width="425" height="349"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/J2SJFTN_w-s&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/J2SJFTN_w-s&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="349"></embed></object> for this many:
Unless we get a really good player in return, I see no need to trade Chuck. Sure he has some flaws, but he's a hustle guy and a good defender. It's always good to have a guy like that on your bench
At first I thought he was a previously banned member or something, but then it dawned on me that he's likely connected somehow with media overseas and hadn't heard about the call. He seems genuinely upset that he hadn't heard about this conference. Don't worry rivo ... the Chinese media can safely plagiarize the article. The quotes -- they're real, and they're spectacular. I don't believe you (but oh yes, I'd make the deal)
not only on your bench, but playing his guts out in practice. One cannot underestimate how much coaches love a smart, dedicated, powerful defender in practice. It allows you to simulate all sorts of opponent defenses. I hate using football analogies, but we all know how important it is for an NFL football team to have a good, veteran backup quarterback on the scouting team that takes on the 1st defense in practice. Same applies to Hayes. According to Thibedeaux in a recent interview, Hayes "allowed us to do many fancy things on defense" [paraphrased].
Clutch don't be offended but, but im serious, i used to think you were our fuzzy cuddly mascot when i first joined this site .
Good point...had not thought of that before. Another big reason to not trade the Chuckwagon (unless it nets us a needed asset)
Clutch, Did Morey mention what he's going in Beijing? I doubt he's there to just have fun and check out Misty May's butt like the President. He's also not a professional scout. Nor does it make sense for him to go there just to keep an eye on Yao. I am thinking maybe he's there with a specific international Olympian in mind-- a possible signing once Landry's situation gets settled. Anyhow, just curious.
How about the two other guys we got from Sacramento? I don't think Morey would compare trading Luther or Chuck to his Novak trade.
dude, you think too much. do you know what Occam's Razor is? maybe Morey is there because half the GMs in the NBA are there...like an ad hoc Trade Summit.
Wasn't he going to meet up with Yao and Dikembe? Dikembe is there and maybe Morey wants to talk about contract negotiations. Isn't that why Dorsey's agent is going there too?
