can we get a post of the article in here for those surfing on our flash deprived iPhones? Thanks clutch
downsizing? steve novak type-deals- how will that help us now? won't that just help us get draft picks etc.? or do these picks, etc. help us trade for something now?
Hopefully it will be something like... Hayes and Head for a nice expiring but I'd settle for Head for a 2nd round pick.
Hopefully this means Luther will finally be traded...good riddance. I guess Hayes is on the trading block too, but I'd like to hold on to him. I've given up hope on retaining Landry, and would be perfectly fine moving forward with Scola, Dorsey and Chuck at the 4.
Forget the minor trade. What other Artest like deals does he have planned at the February deadline? Could we do another upgrade with expirings? Who else is expiring this year? Which teams are looking to dump salary if they don't make the playoffs?
I wonder if this "minor" trade includes getting a player back unlike steve novak to the clippers. PG - Rafer,Francis,Brooks SG - Tmac,Berry,Head SF - Battier,Artest,(Harris) PF - Scola,(Landry),Hayes C - Yao,(Deke),Dorsey Disregard the order, it's not important. The fact is we have 15 players on the roster unless I'm forgetting someone. Who could we trade and who do we want to fill our roster? Realistically speaking, who is available with limited trade baits we have now?
The following current Rockets players do not have fully guaranted contracts: Mike Harris Sean Singletary Patrick Ewing, Jr. Also, trading Chuck Hayes would not be a "minor trade". The guy was the opening day starting PF on this team last season.
I can see Morey trying to trade Head for something useful (project player, a pick, a TE), instead of just letting him go or re-signing him again next offseason.
