Well, school just let out for me... Here's hoping the weather gets better by next Saturday so I can hit up Galveston. Anyone have any big plans?
Anyone been to Corpus Christi - Padre Island? Is it worth it? I know its not Panama City, FL or South Padre Island, TX (famous Spring Break destinations), but I was just wondering what the atmosphere is like. I'm clueless. Other than that I'm bumming.
Seeing as I'm just a working stiff, I don't get spring break. But I am taking vacation time next week to go to Los Angeles for All Tomorrow's Parties, a three day concert headlined by Sonic Youth, who also chose all the other bands.
my spring break just started and what am i doing? going to rockets games!! and lots and lots of sleep. south padre is better than galveston. courpus christi isnt that exciting to me. i love sleep.
man, i miss the days where i had spring breaks!!! my wife teaches school, so she has a week off....that's nice for me, too.... but the days of beaches and college basketball all thrown together in one week are over for me, i'm afraid!!
that's great!! Destin is a great place! I went there with a group of friends right after high school graduation...it was a blast! i bungee jumped there...did it once...i'll never do it again!
Damn. Our Spring Break at OU isn't until next Friday. I still have no idea what I'm going to do. Probably just sit around on my ass for 9 days.
Im not in school anymore, but I am kind of taking a "spring break". Me and some of my family members are going skiing at Wolf Creek in southern Colorado.
I lived in the San Luis Valley, right by Wolf Creek. I took out my kness doing cartwheels at Wolf Creek (helpful hint: Texas boys shouldn't try to keep up with the locals on opening day). How'd ya'll pick Wolf?
Finished my last midterm at 4, now I will get blind drunk. I will be driving home to Houston tomorrow afternoon. My flight to CANCUN leaves Monday morning out of IAH. I will return to the BBS with the wild stories after I return next Friday.
Smokey, I've been to South Padre twice for Spring Break. It's a freaking riot. Drinking round the clock, crossing the border at night, and you'll probably get lucky at least once. Oh ya, it's very inexpensive too.
My spring break was this past week, so it's technically over now. All I did was relax and hang out with Lynus, which was all I really wanted. Ours was so early. It's not even near spring yet and our break is over and done with.
