I wasn't there. I don't know what happened. He could have been legally intoxicated and could have been in full control of himself. I have alot of reason to not trust law enforcement. So, i don't care.

Even if i did care. Ultimately what could i do about it. Nothing. Which is another reason why i don't care.

Well, considering DWI kills a lot of people every year, I think it deserves a public shaming and punishment. I have a lot less of a problem with guys smoking weed, or dropping E at home in their private time then driving drunk.

My thoughts: This is unfortunate, but not too big of a deal to me.

At least he's not slashing throats in a club, right?

Drinking and driving is dangerous without a doubt. I'm wondering whether Rafer might develop a alcohol dependence problem with subsequent mental health issues like depression ala Vin Baker.Sometimes these isolated incidents are a manifestation of a bigger problem.
He was able to play without any difficulty last season so I'm hoping that he will be able to do it again in the upcoming season.

Are you serious? Do you know how many people have died because of drunk drivers? You consider this something you don't care about? Dude, at some point basketball needs to take a step back to real life and its consequences. For real, check your priorities.

If, i repeat, IF this is true, shame on Rafer. He should know better.

I expect the Rockets to come down hard on Rafer. This is a pretty serious matter. These guys are suppose to be role models and drinking and driving is a terrible thing for an athlete to be doing.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a suspension coming for Rafer - and it might be worse than that depending on how drunk or whatever other details emerge.

Rudy T got free drinks from all those taco Cabana marketing days, the guy would knock them down on the sidelines, while his face slowly but surley turned red, med red, and then buzzing.

"When your out late, take it from me make it taco Cabana"!....The Great Rudy

principle of the thing - he's a millionaire. if you're going to go out and drink, hire a driver. not too hard to do. the rest of us get by with using our friends as designated drivers. be responsible, every time you drive, you're piloting a 2-ton death machine.

those of you who don't care about this kind of thing probably won't ever get it until it kills someone you care about. only then will you understand what "not fair" really means. minding your own **** when some idiot decides to play with your life... there's no way to justify that.
