Not too worried about Rafer getting into off court problems now. This is why Ron Artest was brought in. To help keep Rafer in check.
lol, rafer and his darn summer antics! maybe this is just a ritual for rafer to get him to play better. we remember his two run ins with the law last year and we thought he was definitely going to be traded. he ended up having his best season as a houston rocket.
Get off the mans back. Phelps goes DWI on everyone and the entire frickn continent is slurping the guy. For SWIMMING?
Do you know how many innocent people have been killed as a direct result of a drunk driver???? Unbelievable.
I certaintly haven't.. or ever will.. but I can see where you're comming from... This is afterall.. the forum that has a " wut fast food place u like to drive to while drunkz LOLZ!!!!!111 " thread every 2-3 months...
me. ive never drank. and just because you and countless others have done it, doesnt make it right. this kind of attitude is what ends up in innocent people dying because selfish and irresponsible people cant exercise self-control by getting between the wheel. if youre gonna do it, then be responsible. regards.
Pshh...a couple more run ins with the law and he should be ready to have another career year. Last summer > this summer so far in regards to alleged Rafer criminal offenses. That seemed to work out for him somehow...got him focused or something. Come on Rafer, step your game up. Pull out a firearm or sideswipe somebody in a nightclub parking lot with your car for goodness sakes.
Sure is sad that things have to hit home for some people to care........ (I'm sure if someone you loved was being lowered 6' due to a drunk driver you would probably care less about how that person performed on the court)
After what happened to Rafer last off season now this? Seriously the Rockets needs to hire Rafer a chauffeur.
Seriously, Rafer, WTF? Don't tell me you don't have the money to call a taxi or a limo to pick you up. Can't you go one summer without any incidents? And if you really want to drink and drive, do it somewhere else, don't pull that crap in Houston.
well this may encourage morey to keep looking for another pg for the team. the one thing we DONT need is more question marks or instabilities. not that I'm crucifying rafer because of this incident...I just happen to think that morey wants "all hands on deck" for this upcoming season, and anyone acting in a manner that could jeopardize our success due to their lack of focus could be jettisoned. on an artest team, we need stability, positive energy, and good decision making. rafer's choices don't make him a bad guy, but he is guilty of poor decisions. we need a tight ship considering the cannon we just brought on board...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Griffin: Who's sober enough to drive? Peter Griffin: OK, who's drunk, but that special kind of drunk, that you're a better driver because you know you're drunk. You know the kinda drunk that you probably shouldn't drive but you do anyway, because... come on, you gotta get a car home, right, I mean what do they expect me to do? Take a bus? Is that what they want? For me to take a bus? Well screw that! You take a bus! Cleveland: I'm that kind of drunk.
I see a lot more cops on the road writing tickets the last couple of weeks. I bet they have been told to pull more people over to beef up revenue for the city.
No, i'm not joking. I don't really drink but almost everyone i know who does has driven drunk at some point in their lives. Yes, it is wrong but it happens so often that I just don't care. Let the government handle that crap. Just like Josh Howard smoking weed, its illegal but i don't care. If he ends up not being able to play or harms someone, then wake me up.
