I apologize that I misread your post. If you line up a group of 8-14 year olds and say that all of them are between 8 and 14 and do the same with a group of 18-24 year olds, I guarantee you that you'll more accurately guess the age of the younger group. It's just easier to tell the difference in younger kids.
Tell your government about it. Since you need a visa to go to taiwan and you do not need a visa to go to Canada, therefore Taiwan is an independent nation while Canada isn't.
there is no Visa because there was no direct flight and not open to mainland, until this year. and for all the Chinese from Taiwan going to China, they don't use a visa. they don't go through the lanes for foreigners. they go through the same lanes for mainland folks.
and i don't need a Visa to go to China (including Hong Kong), or Canada, or USA. and what does the fact with visa has anything to do with nationality anyway?
