Yao we'll be ok....he tried....atleast he didn't get his shot blocked by a guard in front of the whole world like that "HARD" player Dwight Howard. Guards killed China. The real telling thing for me is any team that doesn't give up layups and dunks and forces them to shoot jump shots have a chance to make a real game out of it. really quite sad how bad USA shoots considering they are playing against non NBA teams.

I think Yao wanted to win this game. But more than anything, I think Yao used this game to test himself. Drawing USA as a first opponent has gotta suck, but Yao performed well, even though his teammates did not. Yao will get better though.
