Words cannot describe how much the US half-court offense is disappointing me. My god why are we so horrible at it?
Not enough on court chemistry and commitment to sacrifice their own games for the better of the cause. That an most of the teams they come up across on the international stage aren't as reliant on the iso game.
It seems the US is playing the passing lane too aggressive, and that is leaving a lot of open 3 for China.
Could it be possible that Yao is even more limited/ injured than we are led to believe? Perhaps thats why Yao isn't getting nearly as many touches as he normally would.
Also- they were mentioning that Yao looks leaner- I think thats just because of the tight jerseys they are wearing as opposed to the jerseys the Rockets have...
The thing is we're suppose to have six freaking years to remedy this. So why is this still a problem? If China could actually a semblance of transition D, we'd be losing right now.
