Don't tell me your changing a vote, just edit it in your original post. It just makes things more confusing to me, as I have to go back to your original post and check to see whether you did edit it, and then make the correct ledger.
Serious: should we edit our original posts? Can you keep track of that? I only put the xtra post here to get your attention and let you know about the change... Seems to me that if we just edit our original post, you might not notice. I dunno. Which do you prefer?
I don't tally the votes as they are posted, I wait until the voting period is over, then do all the tallyin at once, so if the edit is done at anytime before then, I'll get the vote. the thing is that when i'm going through the votes, and I see someone write they've changed their vote, I have to go back and see if they edited their original post to make sure I got the correct vote. Its a tiny hassle.
Soooo... edit the original post, since you're going to end up going over those anyway? Let us who are prone to a change know either way, and it will cut down on your work here. From now on, just edit our original posts, right? OK.
