    BTW, the political announcing is horrible. Much of it is opinion passed off as fact.

    Such a fantastic ceremony. Seeing Yao was nice, but the little boy with him, knowing his story, was the best part of China's delegation. They really spared no expense in this and I have to wonder if either Vancouver or London will even begin to match this. Did anybody else think that the way the Chinese soldier unfurled the Chinese flag into the wind was awesome? He struck such a dramatic pose and let 'er rip!

    $300 million for the performance part ---> really good


    It was funny when USA reps came out..I saw Lisa Leslie telling Tina Thompson something like, "just smile, keep on smiling the whooole time"
