I am not denying that Ralph was a before his time player. I'm not denying that Magic wishes that he had him on his team either. What I am saying is that to call him the Original Garnett is too far in my opinion. Ralph is much bigger than Garnett and Garnett's athleticism is on a whole different level.
i'll bump this again when nbtv does that 'vintage nba - ralph sampson' they only mention garnett's name a gazillion times. i'm not the one who labeled him the 'orginal garnett' its vintage NBA that did it.
At beginning I found this thread troublesome, as quite a few(or should I say more than its fare share) posts that target Chinese fans. Now I think it may not be that bad if this one keeps going. At least,it saves the time for some new Chinese fans to realize that they are not going to be treated fairly and be prepared to run into some cyber bullies who consider the Chinese fans the second class netizen. Some Chinese fans decide to ignore this one. Some decide not to speak up due to the culture or language barrier or some unexpected trouble. But Chinese fans are as intelligent and sensitive as any people in the world and I do not think this one will go without being noticed. Maybe this thread does serve for a good cause, let the time tells.

I highly doubt they mentioned Garnett that many times and even if they did mention him not seeing it I'm guessing they said he was ahead of his time and if they had to compare him to somebody in todays game it would be Garnett. That is a big difference than calling somebody the original Garnett. Now if they actually did say Ralph Sampson was the original Garnett and you don't agree I'll admit that I brought this up with the wrong person. I however believe that this original Garnett idea was something that you are saying or at the very least is something that you believe. If I am mistaken and you don't believe he is the original Garnett please let me know and I'll drop the topic.
well literally, I probably made up the original garnett term instead of saying that he was light years ahead of his time and his skills were that of kevin garnet's back in the day. but they heavily compared him with garnett. maybe i should have said that Garnett was a Sampson poser!
