I really don't get people like you...let's just hope you are joking about your sig because rockets average only under 95 points per game with our defense and yao running down the floor. Really funny how if our starters average that much and what...the bench willl get like a total of 1 point per game? And no way scola will average 16 ppg if hayes landry mutombo yao are still in houston( scola had high ppg only cuz yao got down, probably won't happen again with yao here). But then again...everyone can dream....
Maybe you don't get people like me because you think that anyone that doesn't think like you and agree with your thoughts 100% is ignorant or something. I won't tell you what they call that. But no, I am not joking about what I put in my signature, and the season will either prove me right or wrong. If you don't think the Rockets scoring points and efficiency will go up with the addition of Artest, just what do you think he brings to the team? The rockets scored almost 96 points per game last year, and YES, I expect that to go up with the addition of Artest, Barry and the second year under Adelman's offensive strategy. Call me a dreamer if you want, I call it LOGIC. As far as Scola is concern, maybe you might want to pay attention to how he scored a game high 32 points in one of the games so far even with Ginobili and that other dude on his team, and I might add with high efficiency. He is much better than people think he is because he was only getting his feet wet and adjusted to NBA style play last year. He will thrive in this year's offense because of all the attention to our Big 3. And btw, I said 15 ppg, not 16 ppg. So let's see who will be right. But since you said he won't average that, and it's only a 1 point difference, what do you think he will average? It's easy to say what he won't do when you give no prediction of your own. Scola should average over 30 minutes per game whether we sign Landry or not, and that's just at the 4. Landry is not ready to take Scola's minutes, IMO; and neither will Mutumbo. Hayes will be lucky to be on the team, and if he does, will have more DNP's than minutes played per game.
If you put Chandler on a team where he was the main man I really believe he wouldn't be worth nothing. Teams wouldn't even bother to double team him. David West is great offensively but defensively he needs work. Chris Paul is just excellent.
Chandler is a prodect of Chris Paul and he would be just an ok big man if he was on his own without an elite point guard like Paul.
Scola won't get enough shots to average 16 ppg on a team with T-Mac, Yao, and Artest. He just wont get the shot attempts - this team is STACKED this year. The roster is absolutely ridiculous.... no excuses this year - none at ALL.
