Apparently I missed the logo change, but could somebody explain that piece of crap they switched to. It doesn't look like anything to me.
could you post a picture of it. I haven't seen it, can't find it and can't imagine it is any more r****ded than that dog in the hat.
If you go to this website: ESPN: Big East Conference and scroll down you'll see it. I think that is it anyway.
Well, we can all agree the change wasn't made for merchandise sales. Sales will decrease. The Georgetown "Hoya" (Bulldog) was a classic.
It's just an ultra close-up/cropped pic of the real logo, a white G on a blue background. This is what it really looks like.
I think the sould've gone with the first jacked up close up shot of the logo. At least that one's somewhat interesting. But nooooo...they have to use something as creative, like a...a...G. Woo frickin hoo.
Does that mean they are going to have a giant G as their mascot. They could rename their arena the G-Spot. Instead of 2nd or 3rd, they could have the G String. Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all week.
Hell, I thought it was a deranged Pac Man. ... yeah, i know... "what's Pac Man gramps"? Go to hell, moe.
i remember that when i was in middle school (early 1990s), wearing anything associated with georgetown was all the rage. i doubt that any of those middle schoolers knew where georgetown actuially was haha. i doubt the that trend will ever resurface now thanks to the new logo. i wonder why teams in general are always trying to change their logos. why can't they just stick to what they have. i could understand if it was totally ugly or something, but if the logo is anything decent, i don't think that it should be changed. what ever happened to tradition?!?
