leebigez, I would admire you more if you say Yao should stand up aginst invasion on Iraqi and causing ~1M civiliian's death, or CIA's secret war around the world, or fiancial crises walstreet bankers created in many countries.

Feel like argueing about what I said? Well, that's not the point.

Point is, unlike you, I have no problem of considering super stars to be great contributor to the society as long as they do charity or help other people. They don't have to get involved into dirty political games and be on MY SIDE to be a contributor.

let that fool keep replying til his fingers fall off. I want him to set this record for the most replies.

by the way, I obviously then leebigez obviously pointed out that he didn't get leebigez's point.

Why am I defending leebigez besides MacFu's Yaomastic replies?

    let me tell you.

leebigez is a regular on NBA Radio that millions of people listen to. He is the "Houston" guy. And he represents the Rockets and the Houston fan so well. His knowledge of the NBA and other worldly events. If it were any of you other guys, we Rocket fans would look like a bunch of freaking idiots saying stupid crap about Tmac, Yao, China, the Bulls, etc. EZ keeps the Rockets nation respectable in the ears of many NBA fans.

So be damned if I let some fools disrespect and completely ignore the great information BigEZ puts down here!

troll? dude, I've been here since ClutchCity.net. I know the rules. 1999.

Man, don't get me started on those dirty hedge funds. When a few men control enough capital to bankrupt an entire country...

you may have a point there. but i'd bet if yao does something back each time, he'd foul out in no time. just how ridiculous the nba officiating is. remember yao got a foul called on him last season when it was actually d-howard who threw him down? look at the international competitions. yao gets a lot more fair calls there.

if you were yao, what would you do when your defenders foul you like crazy and you can't do a thing about it without a call being called on you?

You are the only one here who don't understand his point. Last time I checked I am not the only one who has that opinion. BTW, who has said "where did this mlk and malcolm thing come from"? Did you say I said it? Quote it. Stop trying to twist my words. It's low. I asked "how in the world did MLK and Malcolm X suddenly appear in this topic" because I found it ridiculous of him to use MLK as the measuring stick. Is it really that difficult to understand?

Other people like MN_In_Training could understand it easily. So keep acting dumb won't help.

    ibm (welcome back),

Yao should handle Boozer and Okur regardless of how bad the refs are. Once Yao dominates a series in the playoffs, his 'soft' label would be lifted off my the public. its about results.

Well, I'm glad that BigEZ is such a great diplomatic of Clutch City, but he, like any of us, can still misunderstand or misrepresent certain arguments. I'm not denying any of what he writes or believes in. I simply think that on the topic at hand, BigEZ's response to Manhore wasn't a valid one. MacFu, regardless of how new or insignificant he is (or any of us) to this forum, has a point.

If you open up the definition of toughness to mean 50 different things like Feigen did, it just confuses the issue and makes it impossible to nail down. When people say Yao is soft, they are usually referring to his reaction on the court to very physical play. That's it. leebigez last post sums it up fairly well. The best time to debate this is during (or right after) actual games when Yao plays soft. Right now, it's hazy. During games, there isn't much argument about it when it happens.

I'm not letting him down, I'm not letting Hakeem down, I'm not letting Clutch and the 1999ers down.

And I'm not letting you down, I want you to reply so much that the whole board knows that you're the one who loves to reply to Tinman's posts! :p

Fantasizing that you are owning someone won't help. Talk is cheap. I actually hope you will give me a better argument to make this more challenging. Why do you start calling name? Are you frustrated or what? Calling names only make yourself look bad.

Yeah using caps make you sound more intelligent. I agree.

You are the one who don't understand what he said.

Yes I asked why the name of MLK was brought up in this discussion because it was ridiculous. Keep acting dumb.

What you have been saying proves you didn't read what he wrote. I have proved again and again that you missed the boat of what he said.
