    There are alot of places to see music in Austin. Emo's is one of the most famous and also my least favorite of all the venues in the ATX. Quite surely the indoor Emo's venue outsucks the outdoor Emo's venue. You might want to check out Stubb's BBQ. They have decent shows there on the weekends.

    But then again I don't know what music you listen to.

    Depends on your taste in Music....Antoines is always a good bet....and on certain nights the Lucky Lounge is cool too.

    but mohawk is cool... emo's usually gets good shows... obv stubb's is great... the parish is good... but the best part about austin live music scene is that it can pop up anywhere at anytime. parks, coffee shops, side streets, alleys, or on campus. good luck and have fun
