http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5926955.html The Rockets expect to trim their roster and their bloated collection of forwards on Wednesday by dealing Steve Novak to the Los Angeles Clippers, an individual with knowledge of the deal said Tuesday. The Rockets will receive future draft considerations, likely the right to switch places with the Clippers in a second round. It is unclear which season that would be because both teams have future second round commitments. The Rockets selected Novak, 25, in the second round of the 2006 season. A 6-10 forward, Novak averaged 2.7 points in 70 NBA games, making 44.1 percent of his shots and 42.7 percent of his 3-pointers. The highlight of his two seasons with the Rockets was likely the buzzer-beating 3-pointer he made to defeat the Kings during the Rockets’ 22-game winning streak last season.
Yeah same...he was like the 1st pick of the 2nd round..but Oh well, theres 1st rounders that aren't worth a pile of beans though.

Noooooooooo I like Novak he may not be very talented but certain players survive in NBA simply because they specialize in certain area like Steve Kerr's 3pt shooting , Chuck Hayes' hustles and defense. Novak, in my opinion, a 3pt specialist should be keep as a 12th man and use in certain game plans... Sad.......
Good work Morey! He's garbage... but thanks steve for the shot against the kings to keep the streak alive...
We already got a 3pt. shooter who can't play defense, Barry. But then again, that would justify trading battier, so I don't know about this.
Best of luck to a guy that we had no use or playing time for. He's a tweener 3/4 that can't play PF and is unable to do anything else on the perimeter besides the catch-and-shoot. We need a more traditional backup wing player anyways. No, there aren't many left but there are still some versatile 2/3 options out there.
hopefully he will show his true skill on the clippers..i wanna at least see him do good even if its not with us
Thanks for the memories Sure Shot. Hope you flourish in the Clip Joint. Just as long as you don't become a Rocket killer. If you do I will be hoping Artest breaks your legs.
