Mills I'm pretty sure was picked for the Australian team last year out of no where (Having not played in the Australian NBL) and is gonna be a very handy player when he makes the NBA.

You know the salary or any one of the USA players would fund the entire Australian competition for years.

The NBL just this year lost the Sydney Kings, Brisbane Bullets and a team they had in asia all in the off season.

Thats like the NBA losing LA, Chicago, New York, Houston and basically any teams that ,matter a damn to its national profile.

Make that Wade, Kobe & LeBron with special mention to DWill because he's our best PG.

Ive doubted USA would win gold, and I just simply have to agree, you cant just put 12 super-talented black dudes in there and expect them to leave with gold medals, you need guys who can play together and can hit 3s, great perimeter defenders also dont mean anything in international ball, you need guys like Korver or Kapono on the US team instead of guys like Tayshaun Prince.

Actually all 3 are perfect examples of what the national team should select.

It had nothing to do with race (my post).

well.........when you said you don't think team usa can just throw 12 talented black dudes out there. i think that involved race. then you suggested extremely 1 dimensional white american players that you could replace them with.

I totally agree. When the team was announced, I thought to myself 'how the hell are we going to win a gold medal if Korver or Kapono aren't leading the way?' They're white, can hit 3's, and are barely passable defenders. Check, check, and checkmate!

    It makes me so mad.

Well that is kinda suspicious, I guess it was a misunderstanding, I didnt mean they need white guys, just more 1-dimensional players and 1 player like Kobe or LeBron, then some defenders, etc.

The Boomers coach is a bonafide master at teaching he's teams how to play team defense. this guy has a mind boggoling seventy % wining ratio. thats just incridible. the way the boomers played team defense tonight would have equated to them beating anyother national team not named the US or the spanish national team. thats how good they were. they really were.

BTW, this makes luis's thirty two points even more especiall. to able to take over like that, just shows how good luis is against a team that plays lockdown defense. :)

Speaking of defense, Newley is a really good defender.
