it is likely that ai will not come to houston.however,do we really need him? Provided we had alston, then we would have 13.1pts and 5.4asts in stats. If we take yao &tmac and ron into account, then we will have at least 80 ponits guaranteed per game.

there's no doubt that few guys can steal the ball from rafer, who can make the passes among our five guys extremely smooth . if you must find some fault on rafer, then breaking in may be one.Man,his breaking ability is much worse that deron's.i wish rafer to spend this summer training his strenth in the power-training room,at least 23 hours a day  man, don't you share him more than one hour time for dining ,sleeping, and entertaining.

rafer had a 3pts rate of 44.5 last season.(that's not truth) do you guys remember his six 3pts goals in a single game(againest lakers,in which rafer scored team's highest score and his career's highest--31pts)

Undoubtedly, the four guys yao, tamc scola and ron are in the league's first class, which rafer is approching towards gradually. how perfect the rockets are .

I'm not good at either english or chinese,so please correct me if there were some errors in the translation, brother.I appreciate your ideas about the rockets, and rafer alston is also my favourite player too. the amswer to your last question is definitely positive.

    C'mon mate....seriously!

I like the international contingent, I am after all a part of it.

I was poking some fun at the Yanks - especially the ones on here who make fun of the Chinese.

The people on here who make repeated racist, or even borderline racist posts should be banned, drawn and quartered.

Didn't think I had to, but maybe I should of included one of these in the last post;)

Someone else hypothesized that Alston might just be too tired playing too many minutes. I checked, and voila, he/she was right. Look at the split below. On games where he had at least 1 day rest, his shooting %, including 3ptr, is very close to 40% - that's a real threat indeed.

He is 31, turning 32. If we can rest him a bit, he will be a killer.

SPLIT G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF REB APG SPG BPG PPG
    0 Days Rest 15 15 34.3 .391 .316 .619 0.3 2.9 3.2 5.6 1.3 0.1 11.8
    1 Day Rest 1 1 45.0 .333 .375 .000 1.0 3.0 4.0 5.0 2.0 0.0 15.0
    2 Days Rest 3 3 27.3 .500 .471 .800 0.3 0.3 0.7 4.3 0.7 0.0 14.0
    3 Days Rest 5 5 34.6 .379 .385 .786 0.6 3.8 4.4 4.0 1.0 0.8 14.2
    3+ Days Rest 3 3 32.7 .382 .409 .500 0.0 4.7 4.7 6.7 0.7 0.3 12.3

Depends how you define range. Rafer effective range is limited to long jumpshots. If he does anything else (like drive to the basket), he is awful. Rondo's range is from the rim out to 15 feet. He is a very good finisher, a decent mid-range jumpshooter and a zero of a 3-point shooter. So when you look at the complete picture, Rondo's range is as big as Rafer's. If Rafer could finish worth a dime, it would be different.

Rafer's finishing in the 2006 season was atrocious,he showed improvement in the 2007 season. His 3 point shooting is good on some occasions but he can't be relied upon to be a consistent performer in my opinion. That's why SF/Brooks need to be successful backups.

I don't see Skip To My Lou an all-star caliber player. He's an okay role player, not decent, not good, not bad, just okay.

anyway, RA12 would not to be an All star, but he is fit for us. no need more scores he did, just handle the ball, pass and defend.

Those guys are just jerks. Ignore them.

Personally, I'd rather have more posters from other countries who bring a different perspective despite struggling with the language than more local idiots who have never attempted to use English properly.

Hey man, are you aware of the irony in your username? Since I'm assuming you are Chinese, in case you didn't know, it's Einstein.

Well played though, if you did it on purpose.

ey, hope you are not discouraged by these jerks making fun of your english... At least you are able to talk to us... These jerks that are making fun of you, I would love to hear them or see them talk to you in Chinese... Anywaise thanks for your post and I really hope you are not offended, and if you are, I appologize for their behalf... By the way, not all Americans are like that okay? Some are just immature and childish, but that doesnt mean that all Americans are jerks...

Rafer is a serviceable pg on an NBA level - but he's not gonna take any team to the promisedland. wish that weren't the case - but it is what it is.
