While all the teams in the MW Division are very talented, and 4/5 of the teams should make the playoffs, I don't think you can be sure that all the teams will perform will next season. There are still many questions and issues with all the teams that could hamper their performances respectively. Houston- Injuries obviously, also a slight chance of Artest going on a rampage(very unlikely) San Antonio- One of the oldest teams in the league, no guarantee that they will find the fountain of youth anytime soon. Dallas- Still very questionable of how Kidd will fit into their playing style, questionable character in Josh Howard, Dirk seem to have digressed from his MVP season, like the Spurs also very old. New Orleans- Probably the only team that you can guarantee to be one of the top, Peja, West, and Chandler all have their fair share of injury problems, still lacking a consistent SG to play along side Chris Paul, also have arguably one of the weakest bench during the playoffs last season. Memphis- Probably the only team in this division that you can make a guarantee on, they will be horrible.
why do people keep calling the Rockets division, the Midwest division? Did something change that I am missing? Let's repeat.. we are in the SOUTHWEST division, in the WESTERN CONFERENCE.

He was implying that there is no division called the midwest division, something you have yet to realize as well as the fact that the twolves are not in our division. OP I love the idea of the thread but there are a few things off: 1. The division is called the southwest division 2. The Timberwolves are not in our division 3. It would be a quadrilateral. A parallelogram contains two sets of parallel sides, something I would assume is quite impossible when linking 4 different cities in the world.
Yes, I'm well aware that there is a former midwest division, but it's 2008 and we are the southwest division now. I'm not trying to ruin anything, just setting some things straight.

When we were fully healthy, we demolished the hornets. hell, we Also crushed them Without Yao in the game where mcgrady went for points.With the Addition of Artest, we should be much better then them now. Houston Spurs Hornets Dallas Memphis.

houston new orleans dal and sas battle for 3rd then of corse the wolves, i mean grizzles. even if mac or yao go down we can be the best in our division. we werent that many games behind the hornets last season, and were used to bein ahead of them so we should be havin loads of fun for the next 10 Junes
Rox is more compete than the others in this division this season, and we would be NO.1 in this division also for the West
