Did anyone LOL when Stephen A Smith first spoke? It was all really serious at the beginning until Stephen A Smith stepped in. He sounded like Chris Rock taking a jab at Artest.
nice interview. Ron brings what we need. I personally don't care for his style and music taste, but I love his attitude. No championship? = "It's a failure". I got a feeling this guy won't disappear in the fourth qrt., he leaves it all on the court.
actually, after hearing all of his interviews i can kinda understand why he did all that stuff (even though he was wrong).. this guy will not take shiet from anyone and that's the attitude that we need on our team
I'm not griping. I'm glad that he's talking about it, becomes that's more news for me. I'm just wondering what changed between a few days ago when Artest seemed to be purposely talking around the trade, and shortly after that point. And, I still think the deal is pending league approval. It would be interesting if after all of this drama, it turns out that the trade is rejected for whatever reason.
Football is the most popular sport in America and is in pre-season. Baseball is in the middle of their season as is golf and Nascar (both popular sports in their own right). I don't watch ESPN, so I can't comment on the "extreme sport", but I'm guessing it wasn't an interview with a participant in that sport while they were in their off-season.
Boston has to make it to the finals first. They were taken to a game 7 twice before they even made it to the finals this past post season. Also, if anybody has a chance to beat the Celtics in the finals, the Rockets do. lol and they're going to miss the clutch-shooting Posey in the playoffs.
allow me. ron artest is a dumbass. great player, not smart. he looks and sounds driven, but man he is not very bright.
lol a team that struggles to score with 3 stars? we'll have just as good of a defense but our 3 stars' abilty to score is way better
The Celtics are older, less talented (yes, our big 3 > their big 3), significantly less deep, and less versatile. They have a moderate advantage at PG right now, and that's about it. We got this on lock, baby. The other 29 teams in the NBA are gonna just be goin through the motions... they know how it's gonna end. Seriously, though, what kinda Rockets fan would even say that? There's being unbiased, and then there's being a fake ass, faithless "fan".
Well he meant attitude wise. I do not see anything wrong with that. He is definately not as calm or quiet as Duncan and that is exactly what we are looking for, a hard nosed player we already have calm players.
I was joking - the second part of the analogy makes no sense - of course he's not the tim duncan of basketball...TIM DUNCAN is the tim duncan of basketball
