    From the Miami Herald:

University of Miami forward Darius Rice, considered a possible lottery pick by scouts, said he'll be wearing a Hurricanes uniform, at least for one more season.

"I'm not going anywhere, at least not now," Rice, UM's leading scorer (15.3 points per game), told the Miami Herald. "I will be back for at least one more season. I think there are still some things I can learn, and leaving now would be a little too soon. I prefer the college game over the NBA game. I truly enjoy the college game. It's more fun. And we're not done here at UM."

Its refreshing to see an underclassman decide to stay in college and work on his game to become a even better player...but how many times have we heard a player say he's staying in school only to turn around and declare for the draft after the season

    Great decision by Darius.

I remember seeing Rice in the McD's All-American game a couple of years ago. I liked him more than I liked Darius Miles, he's a step down from Miles athletically but more skilled.

But Darius still needs to improve across the board and become more consistent. If he does, wow!
