I don't usually give it much thought, but it is a little lame to wear a jersey in public if you're not going to a game, to workout, or to play a sport.
Agree. A fewyears ago in Columbus I was astonished to see how many grown men were walking around in jorts and jerseys for the Texas-OSU game. Meanwhile, most of us from Texas were all wearing gameday polos with neatly pressed khaki shorts. What a culture clash.
I have a Dream jersey but feel pretty stupid to wear it. So far I haven't worn it. I don't know what I should do with it. T-Shirt? UArmor? just seems weird My Big and Baggs jersey seem to be much more acceptable.
Without a doubt, I always wear my jersey for games. Walking around the street? Yeah, walking down the street with your jersey = homosaurus.
Grown men walking around in jerseys when they aren't going to a game look ridiculous. I'm pretty sure the whole gangsta jersey look went out of style about 15 years ago.
Yeah, the only people that wear jerseys around my hood, are those on Antoine and Pinemont! Represent!
And this was more appropriate for a football game because... Sounds more appropriate for a day antiquing with the wifey.
To put more of a focus on this thread, let's make it: "Grown men don't wear sports jerseys (even at or while watching a sporting even)".
Grown men "do" wear sports jerseys... ... and they're called meatballs who probably resemble something close to this:
I have jerseys that I wear all the time, but they are all football jerseys. I think they are extremely comfortable, which is a big reason I wear them all the time, especially during the summer and fall. You can call me what you want- it's all good! Somehow, someway, I'll get over it and find a way to sleep at night....
