its all part of the asian theme IMO. the font of the rockets are look a lot like kanji characters. the curled up shoulder area reminds me of pagodas. i think it does a good job of attracting the asian market. personally i like our logo/jerseys
The cut of the shoulders is the only real issue I have with the uniforms. I like the logo and the colors a lot. If you don't have a good build, though, the jerseys look terrible on you. Uh, I heard.

not necessarily about build. i'm in good shape and the jerseys still look terrible on me. you gotta have wide shoulders for them to look decent. if you don't it looks like youve got wings.
I do have wide shoulders. I just ain't got the guns. It makes me look like a scarecrow. I just look better in the undershirt-style throwback that I have than in the new "sleeveless nightshirt" jerseys. Maybe if I tried a youth medium... The way I look in the jerseys is hardly relevant to the rest of the world though. They look good on TV.
I love the Rocket's jerseys and especially the material of the red ones which is extra shiney and awesome looking. The stripes are unique and no other team in the leage has the design which I like, and the font with the Asian style is attractive and gives the team an international look which is cool with the team's large Asian fan base. The logo is also very cool IMO and is much better than the old red ones that Dream and the championship teams wore and the blue cartoon like design with the pin stripes although that logo was pretty cool IMO. I own an authentic red McGrady and white and red replica but the authentic is a really attractive jersey. As the team rises to the top of the Western Conference (barring injuries) I think many will find them more attractive and formidable looking. Yeaauuuuuuh!!!!!!!!!
they need to have an alternate black and red away jersey this year like chicago did, that would be bananas
Exactly what i was thinking, WHY CANT WE AT LEAST HAVE BLACK AS OUR THIRD OPTIONAL JERSEY!!!! lakers got= all white, the all purple, and that sorry all yellow celtics= all white, all green, all black, and even on st patty's all gold spurs= all white, all black, they have that nice silver one as well bulls= would match our colors the most and of course the heat But i still think we can make some minor changes. all black, silver, red. get it done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man if we keep the current cut with black uniforms, we might as well rename the team the houston batmans (batmen?)

I'd prefer new cuts but would be happy making the reds are home unis and a black version, like the one above, for the road.
The current Rockets jersey is a classic design. Don't change it. Though I wouldn't mind to see a third alternate color scheme.
