I agree. But also keep in mind that he isn't even obligated to answer any of the questions in the comments. But if he doesn't have some marginally respectful to say, he might as well not say anything.
Also keep in mind that the primary reason he responds to comments in his blogs is so that people continue reading his garbage and come back for more. He doesn't care if they like him or hate him, as long as they come back. I'm not sure if he actually gets paid based on the number of readers he attracts or the number of responses he gets but it does help him in some way.
Justice and he are awful. I don't mind anybody not having doubts about Ron but they are the most pessimistic and irresponsible journalists I have ever seen. When I wasn't able to find out whether Landry had gotten a contract from Tau,I did write to Fran. His answer was that stupid article saying Dorsey was his replacement. I don't want the Rockets to overpay Carl but to expect Joey to be a better scorer than him is ridiculous IMO. Fran didn't take into account that Dorsey is a foul machine who can't shoot FT's and does not have a jump shot. These sports journalists tout themselves as "experts".
i agree that the detroit incident isn't completely artest's fault and i might have done the same thing if some fool threw a drink at me. the point was it was in HIS PAST. a lot of people bring up that incident to bring up that artest is "crazy" and will explode at any given moment. artest has repeatedly said ONLY that incident which yao brought up triggered a nerve in him. he still said it on PTI. he said it "disturbed" him. you NEVER joke about someone's past, esp. if that's the past everybody uses to trash him with. watch around the horn or any national media show. they often bring up that detroit incident to say, "be careful, ron artest could be like this ANYTIME and implode."
you need to know that not all jokes are funny nor make people laugh. yao made a bad joke and in bad taste. get over it. they talked about it and move on.
My initial response to article was that Yao was joking when he mentioned the brawl incident. I mentioned this in another thread before this article...so I'm cool now. Seriously though, the Blinebury's article was a little obvious if you just read Yao's quotes alone. Knowing Yao's humor, you could tell he was joking when referring to the brawl. Blinebury needs to be let go. He's nothing but "Scrooge," and he enjoys being against everyone. Maybe 90% of his replies to readers' comments are degrading, patronizing, and insulting the readers.
Jokingly or not, I think it's a good thing that Yao said what he did. The brawl is Artest's burden to bare the rest of his life. That is his lesson. The next time that he has an unstable moment on the court, all he has to do is look over at Yao Ming and remembers to behave.
LOL, check this video. <embed src="http://services.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/716758716" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=1704074731&playerId=716758716&viewerSecureGatewayURL=https://console.brightcove.com/services/amfgateway&servicesURL=http://services.brightcove.com/services&cdnURL=http://admin.brightcove.com&domain=embed&autoStart=false&" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="486" height="412" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" swLiveConnect="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed> Best part of it is that Franny Blindbury (who really looks blind in this video) keeps talking and you can hardly understand a word of it because some Chinese lady is talking louder and in a high-pitch voice... Now if they could just find a similar solution for his writing...
Let me get this straight... Yao didn't do squat for the Rockets. And Artest has led the Bulls, and Pacers, and the Kings to ... what?
Should we joke about someone's past? What about T-Mac's "past" failures of getting out of the first round? Huh? Haven't you heard constant references to that? BTW, it may not be fair to Artest to hold him now to a mistake he made in the past. But that's a mistake he has to bear because it didn't just cost himself. It cost the whole team. And if you think punching people is a little "mistake" that bears little consequence, think Kermit Washington.
Would it be too much to hope that a little part of the wall topples down on Blinebury so he never makes his way back to his computer to write another garbage article. Sorry, in advance, to those that are offended by this comment. I'm joking, sort of... I really do hope he gets replaced though at some point. I honestly do think he hates the Rockets.
So they allow a black man to go on the Great Wall but they don't allow him to go into a bar? What an irony. *To the ones who don't frequent the D&D, I am just poking fun at the r****ded rumor that they don't allow black men to go into the bars in Beijing and some folks actually believed it*
Well, I don't want to derail the thread. Just look for the thread in D&D. You will have a good laugh at how absurd the story is and how amazing that some people actually bought it.
