This whole "Yao got reservation about the Artest trade" thing is overblown by the media. Apparently it's a slow news summer nothing much happening in NBA.

Yao has the right to be a little concern given Ron's history and we did see a team with championship type chemistry in the 22 game winning streak.

My interpretation: Yao said he like what Ron brings to the team, it would be a good addition if it works out. (Ron behaves and the whole team chemistry is not affected)

Although I know Yao's comment about the brawl would hurt Ron's feeling but it's probably not his intention. Yao was just a little worried, I would be worry too if a single player can start something that basically sank the whole team. (That was what happpened to the pacers.) Even though looking from Ron's perspective, when somebody disrespected you, you need to react. (Which is fine for most people, but not for an important player that has a big role on a team, player needs to have a cooler head in that situation.)

I have a good feeling after seeing Ron's maturity and he seems genuinely happy to be in a good situation and so eager to play with Yao/Mac. Rockets just become a very good team have a chance to go all the way.

Can't wait for the season to start. :)

    the rumors stop in wisdoms
    media distortion is terrible
where Yao meets Ron and plays together, where brotherhood happens
in a word ,Yao and Ron are unselfish ,the same to whole rockets, that's the best thing for us---too many talents

My guess about his attitude to the game is that he respects people who give him respects, and tries to earn it from people who don't hold him in high regard, which I think is one of the best ways to play basketball.
