Remember when the Rockets acquired TMAC....Hou offered SF3, Mobley n cato...Indy offered Artest and others to ORL.....some how Houston ended up with all the best players from those deals....very ironic....Hopefully SF3 can gain form....

What's more ironic is that we used Juwan Howard from the Orlando trade, traded him to Minnesota for Mike James, traded him for Bobby Jackson, and traded him for Artest.

And who would have thought that Artest now is a more valuable player than Francis?

To be fair, we couldn't have gotten Jackson from Mike James without giving up Bonzi. But that's a small price to pay. Mike James was a dead weight. Jackson's an attractive expiring contract.

I remember. I'll never forget Bird's remarks: "I firmly believe our offer is better than anything Houston will offer" or something like that. What killed me is I agreed with him.

They would have had Howard regardless of if they traded McGrady... in other words, they could have McGrady and Howard right now, and NOT have hilariously overpayed Rashard Lewis.

... Either way, though, their loss is our major, MAJOR gain. Haha. God bless the Rockets for always finding new ways to stack their team (and now with a few championships plz?).

Winning the entire Eastern Conference is about the equivalent of making it out of the first round in the west.

So no, they did not make the 2nd round last year.

You're right....for some reason i thought orlando struggled for one more season before getting Howard... Howard was drafted in 04 soo I was wrong.

Wasup with these teams giving crap of load of $$$ to good, but not great players...

    ORL - Rashard Lewis
Cleveland giving crap load to Gooden, Hughes b4 trading for Big Ben (another bad contract)

GS Warrior - Is that team going to win w/o B Diddy...NO...Ellis is good but not elite...

Mil-Bogut (what has he done to deserve MAX money)

    Mem- Darko (never good)

    Just to name a few....
