i think most of our scoring is gonna come from our big 3, but w/ rafer/shane/scola/landry finally not playin a 3rd scoring option theyll be able to score much more efficinently, obviously.

    tmac - 19 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg, 1.2 spg, 1.8 tpg
    yao - 20 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 apg, 2 bpg, 2 tpg
    ron - 14 ppg, 4 rpg, 3 apg, 1.7 spg, 1.5 tpg

i dont think ron get get more than 15 ppg w/ rafer, shane, scola, head, steve, barry, landry on the same team. and i do think scola will get better and steve will be able to play. he doesnt need to.

i dont even konw if mac n yao are gonna get 20ppg. our system can be ultra efficient w/ rick. he never had talent like tmac and yao before, now he has ron also.

say goodbye to tmacs fg% woes :) .

I think McGrady's stats will improve a lot, same for Yao. They are double teamed often, and McGrady operates a lot better with just 1 defender on him. I also think McGrady's assist rating will go up pretty significantly, probably a new season record, since now that we have aquired 2 more very very reliable shooter and finisher.

Oh, I'm sure we'll see several glimpses of the past. Followed by nagging shoulder/knee/back soreness and month long shooting slumps.

Tmac will most definitely not be our leading scorer. He will be more of a playmaker this season. Yao was averaging 25/10 before he went down so if you can imagine adding ron to the lineup, yao will get less double teams = higher percentage shots = more points.

    08-09 Season:

    Yao: 26 ppg, 10.5 reb, 3 dimes, 2.0 blk
    Tmac 20 ppg, 5 reb, 6 dimes, 1 stl
    Tru Warier: 17 ppg, 5 reb, 4 dimes, 1.5 stl, 1 blk
    Refer: 10 ppg, 5 dimes
    Shane: 8 ppg, 4 reb, 1.5 dimes, 1 stl, 1 blk
    Scola: 12 ppg, 7 reb
    Brent: 7 ppg, 3 dimes
Landry if we sign him: 8 ppg, 5 reb

i really think T-Mac will have an MVP season...idk wut the exact stat line would look like, but he's gonna go hard...or even Yao, because he'll get alot less double teams

To me it doesn't matter what the stat line is.As long as one of Team MAM step up any given night like the boston big three than we will be fine.

oh Team MAM is Mcgrady,Artest,Yao. :D

Why does everyone have Artests assists going up for last seasons 3.5? If anything it should be going down.

    This coming season?

    Yao - 1 championship ring
    Tmac - 1 championship ring
    Artest - 1 championship ring

    Anything else is a letdown.

    Yao: 21ppg, 11rpg on 54% FG
    Tmac: 22ppg, 6rpg, 6apg on 43% FG
    Artest 17ppg, 7rpg, 4apg on 46% FG

I think Yao's FG % will increase with Ron's arrival. Tmac can't shoot above 43% FG. If he checks his stats at the All Star break and seee that he is shooting 48% FG he will make sure to take enough bad shots to bring it back down to 43% by season's end. It's in his DNA to shoot a poor percentage for a guy of his size and ability.

Ron will just be Ron except he will score a bit less than he has in recent years but his rebounding will come up a bit.

Agreed. And this can be done even with Rafer starting. Injuries to Yao and T-Mac are the wild card, though.

the minutes yao s going to have on the floor next season might not be as many as last season, so 12 rebs might be a bit tough.
but now we got two solid defenders out there, opponents FG% might be as low as 40% average :p

If we have a relatively healthy season, I don't see anyone averaging more than 21-22 points per game. Hopefully, both Yao's and Mac's shooting percentage will go up but I'm not holding my breath.

    Just throwing numbers out there:

    Yao - 22ppg, 10rpg, 2bpg
    Tracy - 21 ppg, 5rpg, 5apg
    Artest - 15-16ppg, 6rpg, 2.5stp - DPOY :D
