1560 would own houston sports radio if they stuck with Lance and John in the morning, and brought on Mattj and Wex for the afternoon show.

1560 has a 10 minutes long commercial break every 5 minutes. Very annoying.

Methinks your sense of time is a bit off.

Real Shady: Yeah, I loved Matt and Wex when they were on the nightshift back in the day (like a year ago pretty much)

Have you tried listening to Sean and John? I used to listen to John/Lance exclusively then not listen to anything the rest of the day because I can't stand Rich Lord, as much as I like listening to MattJ. I eventually left the radio on the whole day, and now I listen pretty much from 7-6, with the exception of the 11-12 hour with Richard Justice.

1560 in the mornings - the midday shows are all bad - the drive home shows depend on topic - I prefer 790 usually tho. After that the nightshift on 610 is where it's at.

I like switching off between Mark/Andre and John/Lance in the AM (610/1560)

I like Rome in the Afternoons (610)

Drive home is either Matt/Rich (though Rich sometimes annoys me) or Pallilo. I love Pallilo, but sometimes he gets on my nerves and Matt Jackson is always trying to talk Rockets ball, which I love. CP still prefers to talk baseball

1560 most of the day. I usually listen to Rome when Ken Hoffman comes on though. They really need to do something with him, as in let him hit the road.

Charlie Pallilo on 790 is the best talk show host period.

Word. I just leave it on the 1560 stream when I'm at work. The afternoon show is a little heavy on the college football talk, but it's alright.

I know most people hate him, but for some reason I like Hoffman's show.

610 in the mornings... They may not be the best, but come football season they always got good people on. 610am 10-11 in the mornings The Adam Clanton Experience is my favorite, because he's a homer for the Rockets. Mid afternoon is the worst Rome, Monsters of the mid day, and Hoffy. UGH! Afternoon belongs to Charlie man. Charlie is the most knowledgeable sports guy in the city, but he always leans towards more college football for my liking.

I'm pretty much 610 all day. I do like Charlie Pallilo's show too.

You people that listen to 610 exclusively need to expand your horizons. The only good local hosts left on that station anymore are Matt and Adam. Those two should skip over to 1560 so that 610 can finally die off.

I listen to John/Lance on 1560 in the mornings.
    Rome on 610 at lunch.
On the drive home I switch between Charlie on 790, and Sean/John on 1560.
In the evenings the night shift on 610 is the only thing decent still on.

I absolutely loathe Marc Vandermeer, Rich Lord, and the um "monsters of the midday." How any of those people keep a job on the radio amazes me. They're all huge tools.

Nice job 1560. I enjoy a good Morrissey impression.
