Imagine how peaceful the sports world would be without Richard Justice and Skip Bayless. Listening to these guys just raises my blood pressure. My thing is, why would the Chronicle allow Justice to talk about anything other than baseball? He has shown a CLEAR lack of knowledge on every other sport, and you would have thought that being DEAD WRONG about Mario Williams would have been enough to get him to shut the fruck up. Class A dumbass.
He doesn't know basketball. He said Kobe was a defensive player of the year. He just called Rashard Lewis "Jermaine O'Neal".
Dick Justice, you're an idiot. GMs and owners don't classify which move is theres. Theres other personnel involved in decision making too. CLEARLY he doesn't see this. Who cares whose the catalyst of these trades? It shows the Rockets are willing to swing for the fences. This guy sucks. We need to just not support him.
Guy just went off on him for his negative comments on Les Alexander in his blog. Got so bad that they had to cut the guy off.
Sounds like Justice is one of those 'journalists' that say ridiculous things to rile people up so he'll keep getting responses to his articles and get interview requests. Kind of like a shock jock in radio.
I don't see how you could not be for this trade. Like JVG said, it makes us the most talented team in the league and that alone gives us a legit shot at the title. The very minimal risk is totally overshadowed by the HUGE reward.
The guy is trying to show the chron how many people read his blog. Even though it is working he is not fooling anyone. He is going against the grain and that's fine but don't bash the best owner the city has ever had. f'in jerk
You sure about that? The Pinwheel's opinions change from day to day, meaning it's difficult for HIM to know anything about baseball, particularly since the organization goes out of its way not to talk to him. It's estimated at baseball sites that he makes up half the stuff he allegedly "knows," anyway. Stop listening to or reading Richard "The Pinwheel" Justice, and you'll discover how quickly you become smarter. It's akin to the joke about the Aggie who moves to Oklahoma and raises the collective IQ of both states. Of course, that's a joke that's only half true; Oklahoma's IQ is certain to go up in that scenario.
Although I'm not sure exactly what Justice said today, the guy is a complete tool. From his bashing of Mario Williams during his early days to the comments today, the guys is an absolute idiot. His blogs are hilarious at time b/c it seems like he's getting owned continually by random bloggers and can't ever really respond with anything credible.
JVG was on this morning with Lance I believe. Clutch and Friedman (Fritz here on the bbs) were on later in the morning with Lance. Then they replayed the JVG interview when Justice got to the studio and he totally went off on what JVG said. Which was that it was a smart move and that really nothing could go wrong... on the court. Justice took it the other way saying he could get arrested blah blah blah and that he wasn't worth the risk.
No, it isn't. You can argue about his value as a coach but I love him as an announcer and as the casual radio-show drop-in. He's smart and has a sense of fun.
he's overrated as an announcer IMHO, i found his press conferences and interviews as a coach much funnier, his humor on bball broadcasts is a bit forced
