    All I can remeber

Artest will start and Battier will come of the bench

Knicks could have drafted Artest but passed on hime

Compared it to Gasol deal as a steal from Sacramento

He of course loved the deal.

Artest is a great guy when you talk to him. He would bump into him on the streat and he was a great guy and real humble

    Brent barry at the point.

They just said they will run the interview again in its entirety in the 10 o'clock hour. So tune back in at that time to catch it again.

Think how JVG feels now with the Roster the Rockets have with the likes of Artest, Scola, Landry, Dorsey, Barry etc. All players VG would have LOVED to have on his team during his tenure. He has to be kicking himself!

    They are playing it now.

He says the Rockets are the most talented team in the NBA, and Daryl Morey has shown the marks of being an incredible GM.

I just can't see JVG criticizing anything about the Rockets, regardless of what they do. He'd come off as bitter, and I think he's conscious of that.

Would he be this happy if he had to coach Ron Artest? Not so sure.

    Thats nothing new at all.

i wonder if JVG is a bit upset with all the talent Morey has been able to add to the team without having to give up any significant pieces. I think he understood that he had his chance in 4 years of coaching to get the Rockets past the first round, but it sort of like Adeleman is going to reap the rewards of the foundation JVG built

I think JVG is honest, but you could be right. I agree he might not be as happy if he had to manage Artest, but he also realizes that Adelman and Artest have a pretty good history together which makes this a better situation than if he went to another team.

I also love what JVG said about Battier. His value is not just his skill set and hard work, it's also his willingness as a team player to do whatever the team asks of him - even if it means coming off the bench now.

He handled Sprewell. He can deal with malcontents, just not ones who can't play (Bonzi, Spanoulis). He would most likely be glad to have Artest... and is likely very jealous of the team Adelman has compared to what he had back in his days.

    Richard Justice is a moron.

He is dissing JVG for his "What could go wrong this year?"

Well...Richard, the point is that we gave up nothing, and if something DOES go wrong the team is just as good as last year.

    FRIGGEN IDIOT !
