I can't believe they got him for almost nothing. I guess they had some huge question marks about Greene's motivation because I think he had some massive potential.

I would have rather given away Luther Head, but didn't think the Kings would touch that. ;)

I freakin love this trade. I admit i didn't want to give up battier for him, but this is just great. I was sleeping at work :D and heard it over the radio and started screaming. We are the team to beat now. It makes our bench better and we can throw battier and artest at Kobe for 48 minutes if we have too!!!! Greene may be come a great player, but the time is now!!!

I can't find anything cheering up me more than artest's arival.Morey is simply a genuis,a "robber" who got one of the league's best rosters without giving any wealth.
Thanks God ,morey has made a fortune.no word can describe his brilliant achievement.I cherish morey's work,so do les.But i am still confused that how much contract will morey offer artest next year,if morey must retain artest ,then i'm afraid les will have to pay the luxury tax. :D

sorry if this was already posted...they've revealed the other two players in the trade

The Rockets also are expected to acquire rookies Patrick Ewing Jr. and Sean Singletary in the deal to make the money match, but both have partially guaranteed contracts and are likely to be released. The Rockets also will send the Kings roughly $1 million.

WOW, something told me I needed to check up on the Rockets this morning and SPLASH!!!. This could be huge. I wonder how his minutes will work out with Battier still around?

WOW, Ron Ron for a bag of chips.. So all these crazy deals that people post with the "Trade accepted" from RealGM do have a shot at coming true..

I'm loving this trade.. I hate Ron as a person, but love his numbers.. If he can stay out of trouble, this should be a great move.. Bravo DM!!

Is Morey looking great or what? He does a sleight of hand to turn our one late first rounder into two: Greene and Dorsey. Then turns around and brings Artest in with just Greene, Bobby Jackson's expiring and a future late first rounder.

Losing Greene hurts a little, but getting Artest without giving Brooks, Battier or Scola?

AND still have a rookie in Dorsey to contribute to the frontcourt?

    Amazing work, Morey.

This is going to be REALLY interesting season.
