Thinking about Buddy Baker or Carl Landry are just about the only two people right now that could ruin my "Artest high" (no pun intended).
Landry in Europe is a career suicide IMHO. Soon the TAU team will find out he doesn't fit in their style of play. Landry'd better stay in US and big pay day will come.
i agree players that arent used to team game will not function right in other systems. i mean look how long its taken the US to adjust to the FIBA rules. ITs a bussiness go make your money. I wish him well but that knee doesnt look too good.
James Singleton (recently signed with Mavs) became the highest paid player ever in TAU's history when he signed for around 2.5 million euros last season. Also the people who run Hoopshype are based in Spain. I sent an email and they replied: "He's been offered to Tau, but from what I hear they are not interested."
This is the 1st time there seems to be some evidence of this long standing rumor coming to fruition. We will miss him for sure, but he isn't worth the MLE even if he were completely healthy.
That is from 5 days ago and there have been no updates. I say it's still too soon to take this seriously.
I'm not too sure on that. The above articles have been posted before and originate from the US and Poland.
I'd say he's worth some team's MLE. The question is do the Rockets even have room for him at this point. Adding Barry and Artest doesn't leave much playing time for a guy like J.R. Smith.
man I hope Landry goes above the money and stays to win. Hell i cant blame him if he does leave 15 mil? seriously?
