I'm happy for both of them. McGrady and Yao will have it easier now. Can't wait for the season to start. 92 more days!
Same reaction, but Artest is a legit 3rd star, an all-star, defensive player of the year, 20 point scorer with real size strength and tenacity. He's no Stromle Swift or Derek Anderson.
I don't think two teams can submit paperwork to trade for the same player. I would think the first contract has rights over a 2nd contract signed later. You could create a contract contingent on the first trade doesn't get approved by the league office. If the league office rejects it, we would receive nothing anyway.
His response was a little generic, but I still SERIOUSLY doubt McGrady would offer up the following about: Stromile Swift "If this is true, this is definitely what I have been waiting on for 8 years in my career, for a team to really improve and put the talent [on the floor] that I feel that we can compete with the best." Steve Francis "If this is true, this is definitely what I have been waiting on for 10 years in my career...."
oh boy, stephen a smith has the details of mcgrady's reaction on sportscenter............ here we go.........
no, now we can have a tmac that can play just 30-32 min a game and be fully ready to beast out as the best player in the playoffs.
minutes will be tough. you want shane to play at least 25 mins. you want artest to play at least 32-35 mins. we might see a lot of PG play by tmac pg - tmac sg - artest sf - ron pf - scola c - yao *******, 6'8 and over lineup. we might have to do that for 4-5 min stretches b/c artest/shane can guard a lot of PGs.
true, but i still dont understand why we signed barry, we have to many backups at the guard position.
are you complaining about depth? too many backups? where the hell have you been the last few seasons? rocket fans should NEVER complain about having too many players
