OMG!!! Morey is a freakin' genius! We get one of the biggest badasses in the NBA and all we gave up were a pick, Jackson, and maybe Greene???!!!! Our starting 5 is untouched (Battier off bench next year maybe but you get the point) 20 ppg 3rd scorer and PHENOMENAL defender! Man, our defense is going to be unreal. Please, Ron-Ron, just be sort of normal for a couple of years...please?

They are in a rebuilding mode. Greene may or may not pan out but he could be a good player in the future,a future 1st plus 1M in cash isn't bad either.Artest's trading value has been hurt to an extent by his behavior or they could have ended up with a better deal.
so who starts? Battier or Artest? I like Artest off the bench because he can do more damage in a shorter amount of time.

i can just imagine the likes of kobe, lebron, wades etc. going damn i have to go against artest tonight and then when artest gets a break to rest who comes in to relieve him? Shane Battier. oh man oh man. I bet shane is happy as heck to be able to take a break on defense with ron ron around. oh yeah then the kobe, lebrons, wades also have to deal with artest on the offensive end and of course Tmac Morey I F'n love you!
no joke, shane, artest, AND tmac can all play superstar level defense, ALL OF THEM. i dunno why pple think tmac cant play d, but w/e. this is cheating, i was already convinced wed win the title next season IF we stay healhty but this puts the nail in the coffin. you cant say we cant win the title w/ mac, yao, and ron.
