This job description is more for people still in school. We want someone young who knows a lot about computers and the various languages associated with them. Definitely HTML. We're looking for someone who knows their stuff and can practically build a web page from scratch. You can call this an internship, but it will be paid hourly (at least $10/hour). Probably the 2 most important tasks of this job is updating the webpage, making the site look very nice, and taking care of all the technological aspects (the network, internet connection) where there is travel involved. Having a good grasp of other media, such as iMovie or audio editing, would be a plus too. There is a very high possibility it will be parlayed into a full-time job too, if you know your stuff that well.

Let me know if you're interested by contacting me at naresh@bizradio.com.

"travel" does not mesh with "student"

so do you want a student or someone willing to travel?

Sorry for the ambiguous term. We have events during the nights many times at locations around Houston. That's what I mean by travel.

I wish I had more refined skills in html. :( I am actually taking classes in C+. I can build a basic website but probably not an advanced one.

$10/hr is not that bad for a freshmen or a sophomore college student. I managed an entire VOIP network for $10/hr when I was a sophomore. And the experiences on your resume is more important than the money IMO.

depends on the hours and pressure really.

If it is in a key position where they would have to stay up and fix some problem over the weekend or get fired, I doubt you can expect to keep a student very long.

An undergrad can not be EXPECTED to schedule their time well enough to take care of a full time university schedule and a job.

If you really want a response put this up in an ad around the PGH building at UH Main Campus. I would not put $10 per hour in there.
