Obama on Meet the Press:

I'm pretty convinced that there was a sign at the door that read "FREE BEER."

 

There has to a be a reason -- we'll figure this one out.

 

Kennedy: "Ich bin ein Berliner!"

Reagan: "Tear down this wall!"

Obama: "Flag pins? We talkin' 'bout flag pins? Flag pins? FLAG pins? We ain't talkin' bout the issues. We talkin' 'bout flag pins. Flag pins. Flag pins!"

 

No aspersion toward Obama was meant. My point is a screaming crowd should never sway reasoned examination of issues. Commodore stated that a partisan crowd was his rationale for voting for a particular candidate.
