Oh, come on. They are both solid but neither of them is anything special. To be honest, at first I thought it's Brewer we are talking about in which case the offer would seem alright but C.J. Miles? I don't think so. As others have pointed out, the offer is so large just to force Utah to not match.

you don't see teams selling their lottery pick. so your part of a lottery pick costing 4.5 million doesn't really matter. and miles contract year was LAST year, and he didn't lived up to his potential and got a year older. this signing was just about pure potential, and utah wasn't going to sign miles for less anyways.

After the Jazz traded Hart for Knight, I see this coming - the Jazz has matched the offer of OKC. CJ Miles stays in Utah.

NO......................CJ Miles is still a Jazz...what happened to my wish of the Rockets signing him???!!!!!!

wow wow wow...the Jazz matched...I totally did not expect this coming...I thought it was a matter of time before OKC get their man.

what??!!! K I am guessing that the Jazz are extremely high on CJ Miles, otherwise with Korver, Brewer, and some other wing player I cant remember the name of, its a pretty expensive bench warmer...

Good or bad for the jazz?

The other wing player is Morris Almond.

I think from the Jazz perspective they just couldn't stomach an assett leaving.

Let's hope it bites them, becomes a disgrunted overpayed player.

Apparently Miles IS worth what he was signed for! Whyever would two teams offer to overpay a bad player that much?
