Man was it weird to see Steve Francis in person at a Luby's in Deer Park. He was with a couple of his friends I assume, that I don't know of. They probably played with him at San Jac. It took me a minute of thinking to find out why he was at a Luby's in Deer Park of all places, but then I realized he was probably watching the Maryland game with a couple of his old San Jac teammates who live in the Deer Park/Pasadena area. It seemed like everybody was in awe of seeing him and no one really went up to him for an autograph. I didn't have anything to get autographed but I don't think I would've gone up to him anyway. It's so intimidating to see such stars like that in public. I saw Teresa Witherspoon of the New York Liberty at the Black Eyed Pea a few weeks back. I guess Pasadena/Deer Park is the place to be, afterall we are No. 1 now in alot of different areas, not the least of which is smog. BTW, Steve was eating fish and had some Hawaiian punch to wash it down. He's really tall in person.

I believe its Pasadena, New York/DC.

I thought it was Pasadena, CA...as in the city that hosts the Rose Bowl. Couple blocks away from my house.

    Now wait there's Pasadena, TX?

    LOL. [IMG]

good work on the site RF34... I love the first photo w/ Porter's flowbie...

    'the boy bands' [IMG] LOL

people here in UT still wear gel in their hair (things eventually make landfall here from either of the coasts within 7-12 years of a fad), so perhaps I can send some down to bryce so he can get all n-synced up...

Well see there's "like, Pasadena" in California and then there's "Pasa-get-down-dena" in Houston. I can't help it, I'm a former galena Park transplant... [IMG]

Deer Park, TX of course. Who else would be #1 in smog? That's right, we beat out LA finally after years of mcuh effort of trying to reach this prestigous goal. Anyway, it was kinda cool seeing Steve at Luby's. Deer Park/Pasadena is a hot-bed for sports stars. Where else can you see such stars as Andy Pettitte, Teresa Witherspoon, Sam Cassell, and Steve Francis in public places.

P.S. Francis3, Luby's fish is really good. That was my food of choice yesterday. Either that or cheese steak is the best way to go.

I would think with all the money Francis is making nowadays, he'd find better places to eat than Luby's.

Are you sayin you wouldn't be a little syched to see him walk in to the place where you're eating? I noticed his meal because the hawaiian punch really stood out since it was so red.
