No not Jesus. I went a bit overboard with that post, I have to admit. It'll be interesting to see what sort of damage Dolly has left behind tomorrow. Hopefully Falcons Talon and others did ok.
Last time I checked, Reynosa was in MEXICO. <iframe width="300" height="200" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Reynosa,+Mexico&ie=UTF8&s=AARTsJpx32O-4-U8MRXt8cqb3TQpusHuHg&ll=26.151124,-98.263779&spn=0.215725,0.291824&z=11&iwloc=addr&output=embed"></iframe> You, sir, apparently only go to the TOURIST-filled (or geared) places of the Mexican towns to drink and party . Try going to colonias, slums, ghettos, etc., where I was born.
ey guey, cuando vas a tener un "post" sin pinches "smilies" lol (to the 2nd power) to those of you who dont speak spanish, i just basically asked him if theres ever gonna be a post without smilies
Oh come on SwolyD ........what? You think youre all bad now? Just because you sold Chicletts cabron........
Well not much rain falling today in the Brownsville area. The University here had minor structural damage, mostly water leaks and uprooted trees. We'll have the maintenance check the buildings by lunch time and we'll go from there.
Well I'm good. Ton of wind and rain. Some of my plants are destroyed. Never lost electricity though, so that's a huge plus. I think there are like at least 150 thousand w/o power right now, including some relatives. As far as my house, we were lucky. Nothing much happened. Our backyard looks like a swamp right now though. We have a ton of frogs humping back there right now. My wife counted 20 before she gave up. I walked around my neigborhood this morining while taking the dogs out for a bathroom break(24+ hours and no poop/pee in the garage!) and there were fences down, trees uprooted mailboxes gone, etc. Nothing HUGE though.
FT checking in. Biggest problem was Roadrunner went down. No damage at all here...Seriously, lights flickered a few times...power went out once for two minutes...we watched Direct TV the whole time, never really losing the signalIn my part of the woods, minor tree and sign damage. It was a fun 'cane...kids experienced the forces of nature, and we had a pretty good barbq...no flooding, and I've already unboarded the house...We took a drive as well and everything looked to be in order...
