Black people are even more of minority in China, minorities usually get the bad end of government and society.

here's a good example of one in Houston.

Vernon Maxwell, a hero and savior of the city was pulled over because he was successful young and black. they found 1 gram (1 freaking gram) of weed and he was arrested.

If Bill Clinton had 1 gram of weed people would cheer. but Max wasn't cause he was Black.

Now fast forward to today, people think bad things of Max and only remember that he got arrest for weed. 1 freaking gram.

Black got beaten in USA <-> Minorities in China (poor villagers) got beaten/mistreated in China
Black got beaten in China <-> Chinese got beaten in USA

In my opinion, the whole thing did the whole country(including the black) a big disservice. The LAPD did something wrong and the other part did something even worse.

Anyway i'd like to point out something that you may have inadvertantly touched on, Katrina victims. Have heard much more black people complain about Katrina victims and its not because they're self hating. There is and has always been a common denominator between criminals and it has nothing to do with race.

It is poverty.

The poor commit crimes, especially the victimless ones (war on drugs ), at a high frequency. I can't speak for other countries but in this country in particular there has been a high rate of racism towards blacks that has only been dieing down in recent decades. There was FORCED illiteracy and unemployment for many years so it is inevitable that there will be a transition period. There has been major progress.

Also, i'd like to ask what is gangsta clothes? Just because alot of italian gangsters wear velor jumpsuits and pinstripes, i don't consider any italian who wears to be wearing gangster gear. Why should we consider all black youths who wear baggy clothing to be wearing "gangsta gear". I've been accused of too much in my lifetime to stand for this, its not right. If he's wearing a ski mask and leather gloves, fine. If he has an unnatural bulge in his pants, fine. If he doesn't look you in the eye, fine but don't go all of your countries problems on a race or style of clothing.

My initial reply was just to say Yes and No on your post that the Rodney King thing would never happen in China. I do not think someone like him will get big bucks by doing what he did in China, and I certainly do not want to see the chain reaction that incident initiated in China or any part of the world.
