Yeah, if only she could get a role in one of those big summer tent pole movies about superheroes or something. I think Linda Fiorentino's problem is that she's apparently difficult to work with. Since she supposedly has five movies coming out this year alone (all indie stuff), I'm going to guess that she has worked again. Has a TV show on ABC Family right now (as in, it was on tonight).
It seems more like ten years. She was just a kid (16-17?) when clueless came out; and I think she tried to follow-up with grown up roles when, talent-wise, she probably should have just ridden the teen movie wave that she and the WB Network jointly started. I guess post-Kilmer Batman roles and post-Encino Man Brendan Fraser vehicles (Blast from the Past) just weren't the best bets. Looks like she and Heather Graham had the same agents. Note on Helen Hunt, she didn't drop off. She just never learned to play anything other than a girlfriend before her high forehead and rat face caught up with her. If she could, I don't think Laura Linney would have a career. Less fortunate are talented actresses like Hope Davis, Kyra Sedgewick or Robin Wright Penn who never seem to break in to the A-List.
My girlfriend and I were in back of Julia Stiles in the line at Hot Doug's the other day, and both of us (when she went out of earshot, of course), were trying to remember the last movie she was in. I'd never even seen her in a movie, just knew who she was.
Debbe Dunning from Home Improvement (I forget her name on the show now, but the tool girl after Pamela Anderson)? She was smoking hot.
I lump Graham, Shannon Elizabeth, and Denise Richards together in the "We need a hot actress but we don't need her for anything other than to be hot on camera" category.
What happened to her was that people finally realized that she was, in fact, ugly. Yessir, that's her when she was in Clueless
Winona Ryder??? Yeah, she shoplifted some stuff... but does that seriously derail your career. And.. Lucy Liu... she was great in Kill Bill.. thought she would go on to greater and better things...
she does commercials for some hair extension place that show on UPN in the DC metro area. it's hilarious. and she says "hi, i'm kellie williams from family matters" before she does the rest of it. still living off that..
I believe she's still on that Vegas show along with other hotties, Vanessa Marcil and Molly Sims I would've said Eliza Dushku but noticed she did a role on a show last week I read in the paper, but would like to see her in more mainstream movies
