I like the hitting part of the baseball game. The throwing part, there's no telling if a fast-ball or slower throw will net you a strike. There's also no aiming of strike zone. Then there's annoying foul ball that simply tires you out.
For me, Tiger Woods. I wouldn't argue to much against those saying Mario Galaxy, though. I HATE that a proper dedicated baseball game hasn't come out. Ports from other consoles have been lacking and awkward. I'd rather a non-cartoon game, but I think Mario Sluggers has the best shot.
Hands down Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess...the story and gameplay is incredibly deep and using the wii remote is the most satisfying of any of the games I've played so far. Just slightly below: Mario Galaxy (a great game, but not quite at the same level of 64 imo...the sometimes insanely small planets were a little disappointing; just didn't make me feel like the worlds were as vast as 64) Metroid Prime: Corruption... there were some things initially that frustrated me and I thought could have been explained better, the voice acting imo is not very good (not the acting so much as the actual voice), not a very big fan of some of the designs (mainly creature). Still a an epic game, but I think the first Prime is still the best. Also the wii remote controls aren't as rewarding as I'd like...the game would be so much better if you could use a gun shell...why hasn't Nintendo come up with one yet (and I'm not talkin about the stupid zapper). You could seriously have a small-arms gun shell with the wiimote doubling as the bullet chamber and the nunchuk sliding into the spot where the magazine would be (with the analog sticking out one side and the buttons the other side).
Am I the only person here who does not own a wii? I went to Amazon and found there are so many different packages with different accessories available. So what are the basic stuffs that I need in order to have a fun experience? Which accessories are must owns? Please advice.
You don't have to go with one of the packages. The standard set comes with the console, one controller/nunchuk combination and Wii Sports. Extra controllers/nunchucks is really all you would need.
Rockband. Yes I know you can't d/l new songs but with the songs currently on the disk its a good way to start off and it will take some time to master expert on singing/drums,guitar,bass on every song. So far the best game (for me) on the wii.. Now for the kids (10g,7g,4b) they love the house of dead 2/3 game with the gun accessories..
