The NBA at times can make very stupid mistakes, IMO.

Wearing microphone during an NBC telecasted game??? C'mon!!! [IMG]

Anyone knows if Rudy and the Rockets agree to this new "rule"??? As I know, only 2 coaches in the league agreed to it so far.

I think it's completely ridiculous! What do you guys think?

Where do you think "Kapaya!" came from?
That was RT on the mike.

one word: 'kapaya'. I like it and I wish other coaches would agree to it. I'd love to hear what Phil Jackson says when Shaq misses a free throw. Better yet, put a mike on Spike Lee and Reggie Miller during a Knicks - Pacers game.

I think it is dumb. Paul Westphal and Butch Carter did a good job. The teams got fined but ohh well. Would you want ppl to listen to you the whole game?

Why if you say some bad things or something? This mic thing is bull**** and they need to do something about it.

I think what Rudy said about it was Funny, but IMO make it optional. If they dont wanna be miked dont make them. But there is a very good advantage to it and that is as you guys stated before "KAPAYA".

Actually Rudy T said during his show on 950AM KPRC that he doesn't mind wearing the microphone. When asked what if he wants to say something that he doesn't want others to hear, he basically says "then I say something (like the F-word or the S-word) at the beginning of the sentence to make sure they will not air it".

Anyone still thinks Rudy T is not a smart coach?
